Watch your little ones and have a life jacket on them because this place is huge. We didn't get to go on the big slides because our kids were too young but they enjoyed the day at the children's pool and activity area. Knott's Soak City use to be the only water park in the San Diego are before Legoland Water Park opened, but it is still the biggest and it has all the thrill rides whereas Legoland Water Park is designed for 2-12 yr. olds. Knott's Soak City has a wave pool, a family raft ride, a family funhouse, 6 body slides, 4 high-speed slides,a 4 person raft ride, 6 tube slides, a lazy river, and kid's slides. The name suggests San Diego but it is actually in Chula Vista which is the South Bay area of San Diego. There is a KOA campground in Chula Vista nearby if you are camping or traveling by RV (the only KOA in the San Diego area). Check for discounts/coupons online or in brochures in the tourist areas.
